Alia Bhatt huge Shahid Kapoor

Alia Bhatt: I am a huge Shahid Kapoor fan

Alia Bhatt will be seen with Shahid Kapoor in Vikas Bahl's next. "Yes, I'm doing Shaandar with Vikas. I loved his film, Queen. And I am really looking forward to what he does in this film with me."

Alia's is thrilled to bits about working with Kapoor. "I'm a huge Shahid Kapoor fan. I must have been 11 years old when I went to see Shahid in Ishq Vishk at Gaiety-Galaxy. I've been a fan since. He is a fabulous actor and from what I hear, a very supportive co-star."

Shahid is a generation removed from most of the co-stars Alia has worked with so far. She gently reminds me, "I've done Highway with Randeep Hooda. But yes, that apart, I've so far worked with actors my own age. So there was a natural comfort level. But it's not like Shahid is any different from Varun Dhawan, Arjun Kapoor or Siddharth Malhotra. He is a chilled-out guy. I am sure he's a thorough professional. And I am really looking forward to working with him."

Hrithik Roshan, Shahid Kapoor to clash at Box Office

It`s time for another big clash in Bollywood. Two of the top Bollywood hunks will be seen competing this Gandhi Jayanti for screen space. Supposedly, Shahid Kapoor`s `Haider` and Hrithik Roshan`s `Bang Bang` will be released on October 2, just before the festive season, this year.

Both the projects are big banner productions and it will be interesting to watch them fight it out for glory at the Box Office.

It has to be said that both Hrithik and Shahid have an ocean of fan following and the two have made millions hearts skip a beat with their impeccable dancing abilities.

Directed by Siddharth Raj Anand, the screenplay of ‘Bang Bang’ has been written by Sujoy Ghosh and Suresh Nair, while Abbas Tyrewala has penned dialogues for it. It also stars Katrina Kaif and is a remake of the hit Hollywood movie `Knight and Day`.

Earlier `Bang Bang` was supposed to clash with Priyanka Chopra`s `Mary Kom`.

`Haider` is helmed by Vishal Bharadwaj and is an adaptation of William Shakespeare`s `Hamlet`. The movie also stars Shraddha Kapoor, Tabu, Irrfan Khan and Kay Kay Menon and is set in the backdrop of Kashmir.

One wonders why none of these filmmakers are shifting their preference of release date instead of warring at the Box Office and cutting into each other`s profits. But who knows, both these films may do wonders at the Box Office!

Here`s wishing both Shahid and Hrithik all the very best.
