Film Mausam completes its first shooting schedule

Veteran actor Pankaj Kapoor's directorial debut movie Mausam has completed its first shooting schedule in Edinburgh. The movie stars his son, Bollywood hunk, Shahid Kapoor and Anil Kapoor's daughter Sonam Kapoor of Saawariya fame, in the lead roles.

For the last two months, the cast and crew of Mausam had been in Edinburgh to shoot for the movie. The unit has now returned to Mumbai and after completing the scheduled shoot here they will reportedly move to Punjab to shoot a few scenes there. As per the sources, the team will go back to Edinburgh again in winter for the remaining shots.


Pankaj Kapoor wrote the movie as a romantic drama set in the valley of Kashmir. But, they had to shoot it in Edinburgh because of security reasons. The movie will also be shot in some other Indian cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Punjab and Ahmedabad.

Shahid is playing an air force pilot in Mausam. He has shot a scene at an RAF airbase which is the last shot of the first schedule. The actor will be seen in a G-suit, walking towards four Tornado jets and boarding one of them in that scene.

Shahid Kapoor has so far never been refused for a kiss-scene in the movie be it Kareena Kapoor in Jab We Met or Anushka Sharma in Badmaash Company. However, relatively new-bee Sonam Kapoor seems to be acting very pricey when it comes to kissing Shahid on-screen. 

If sources are to be believed, Sonam was not quite aware about the whole idea of introducting the kiss-scene as nothing had ben discussed regarding it in the beginning when she was narrated the script. So, the decision taken actually by Shahid Kapoor and put forth by his father- director Pankaj Kapoor took Sonam aback.

 

Sonam's initial tantrums led to papa Kapoor calling on the sets of Mausam so that things would smooth down. However, she put her foot down saying nothing could change her mind.

Shahid Kapoor has always been in news for his resemblance to Shahrukh Khan and also imitating latter in his films. However, in reality Shahid likes to step into Aamir's shoes. If sources are to be believed, he desires to kiss all his co-stars in every film he does just like Aamir Khan used to in his young days.  

 

 

In fact, recently he put forth his request of introducing kiss scene to his father Pankaj Kapoor in latter's directorial debut Mausam. But to his surprise so-star Sonam Kapoor refused to do the kiss-scene so much so that after getting aware of Shahid being the decision-taker, Sonam became more adamant about her disapproval. 

 

 

 Wonder, will Shahid stick to his agenda of kissing or Sonam to her words?
