Alia Bhatt and Shahid Kapoor wrapped up the final schedule of their upcoming movie “Shaandaar”. The actress took to her Instagram account to share a grumpy selfie with her co-star.

About the pic she wrote, “Grumpie selfie @shahidkapoor #lastday #SHAANDAAR#shootlife.”

 

Alia also took to microblogging website Twitter and posted, “And one more journey comes to an end.. Last night of shoot for #shaandaar ... Will be hoping this night never ends.. too much pain :(”

Even Shahid said that “Shaandaar” wrapped up way too soon. He also shared a photograph with his tweet.

His tweet read, “Waking up after wrapping a movie n messing with your look cause u can . SHAANDAAR wraps way too soon .…”  

Shahid and Alia will be seen essaying insomniacs in the movie, which is touted to be India’s first destination wedding film.

Directed by Vikas Bahl, “Shaandaar” also features Sanjay Kapoor and Pankaj Kapur in supporting roles. It is jointly produced by Karan Johar and Phantom Films.

Shahid Kapoor turns 34 on Wednesday. Born to actor-filmmaker Pankaj Kapur and Neelima Azim, Shahid, who is said to have dated Kareena Kapoor, Vidya Balan and Priyanka Chopra, is now a single man.

It’s a special day for Bollywood’s chocolate boy Shahid Kapoor as the actor is celebrating his Birthday today. The actor turns 33 and gave a kick-start to his Birthday last night by throwing a party at his Juhu residence in Mumbai.

As the clock stroke 12, the party began for the actor. Shahid started his birthday bash with his close friends from the Bollywood industry as well as with his sibling.

Shahid Kapoor’s brother Isshan Khattar attended the birthday bash with his friend Ayesha Kapur. Ayesha Kapur is the actress known for her best performance as young Michelle McNally in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Black. ‘Queen‘ director Vikas Bahl was among other popular B-Town friend who attended the party.

  

Others who attended the party were producer Madhu Matena, fashion designer Masaba Gupta and several others too. Producer Madhu Matena and Masaba Gupta attended the party together and were also seen leaving the venue together.

Let’s not take the limelight off from the charming Birthday boy Shahid Kapoor. He was dressed in black with a huge smile while posing for the shutterbugs.

Shahid Kapoor already had a great start this year by winning the best actor award for his film Haider, which was super successful film of 2014. He is all set for his upcoming movie Shandaar with Alia Bhatt which is directed by Vikas Bahl.

Bollywood heartthrob Shahid Kapoor who was last seen in ‘Haider’,  which happens to be one of the biggest hits of the year, in an interview to a leading tabloid stated that there are couple of actors from our industry who inspired him a lot by their powerful performances in their respective films.

Shahid said, "It has been four-five years since I got that recognition. I need to thank a lot of people, especially those whose performances inspired me. Ranbir Kapoor was ­fabulous in ‘Barfi!’, and when I saw ‘Bhaag Milkha Bhaag’ , I thought Farhan Akhtar has really established himself as an actor. At an awards show, I just stood looking at him, thinking that acting is more about your choices than your ­talent."

Currently, Shahid  happens to be all busy shooting for Vikas Bahl’s ‘shaandar’ opposite Alia Bhatt.

 After a string of unsuccessful films, the acclaim that actor Shahid Kapoor got for Vishal Bhardwaj’s Haider has upped his game. It has been four-five years since I got that recognition. (2012), and when I saw Bhaag Milkha Bhaag (2013), I thought Farhan (Akhtar) has really established himself as an actor. At an awards show, I just stood looking at him, thinking that acting is more about your choices than your ­talent," says Shahid.

Having worked with Vishal on Kaminey (2008) before Haider, he admits that the filmmaker is possibly the only one who brings out the best in him. "I’ve an amazing bond with Vishal, and I hope he makes all his films with me. But, I also think every actor should get a chance  to work with him."

Shahid Kapoor tends to dazzle people with his smile every time he steps out however on this instance he was captured in a very different avatar. On a recent outing actor Shahid Kapoor was spotted covering his face with a printed smuff.

The actor who is busy shooting for Shaandaar which also stars Alia Bhatt was seen hiding his face as he stepped out.


Apparently Kapoor was hiding the new look for his latest project in which he plays a wedding planner. These days a trend has set in wherein actors go to extreme lengths to cover their look like it is impossible to spot Ranveer Singh without a hat these days.

Maybe Shahid is following the cue by being extra cautious about not revealing his face. We wonder if we are in for a big reveal of sorts?
